Bray to Greystones cliff walk

The Cliff Walk goes from Bray to Greystones and is one of the most popular attractions Bray has to offer. The Cliff Walk is about 7 kilometres long, takes about 2 hours to complete and is suitable for all abilities. The Cliff Walk follows the coastline and boasts some of the most amazing views of the East Coast. The Cliff has a rich history and is brimming with wildlife and colourful flowers.

The walk starts from the bandstand on Bray Promenade. Follow the promenade up towards Bray Head, you can’t miss it, and keep following the path around to the left.

Alternatively you can park at the free car park at Raheen Park and begin your journey from there; this will take about a kilometre off the walk.

The path is well marked and is quite moderate, but the surface can vary in places so take care. As you walk keep an eye out for the wildlife that inhabits the cliffs. The keen observer might see the well camouflaged common lizard that sometimes basks in the sun. There is also a variety of different birds to be spotted. The water around the Cliff has an exciting array of natives including dolphins, black harbour porpoises and basking sharks.

The walk finishes at Greystones harbour, where you can relax, grab a bite to eat and then get the Dart towards Dublin in comfort.
